The Canada Institute on North American Issues (CINAI)

CINAI is a registered Canadian charity, established to address critical public policy issues within the North American context. Through a series of lectures, seminars and other dialogue opportunities, CINAI programs highlight current and emerging issues within the Canada-US-Mexico relationship.

"Keeping the doors open to dialogue and bringing the key players to the same table is critical to realizing the promises and possibilities of North America."

Warren Goldring

CINAI’s ability to have an impact on cross border issues has been enhanced through a partnership with the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. Together the two non-partisan organizations are forging new and important relationships with key policy makers across North America.

The CINAI program has five main annual components:

  • The C. Warren Goldring Annual Lecture on Canada-U.S. Relations
  • One Issue/Two Voices Series
  • Poll on North American Issues
  • Seminars and Visitor Programs
  • Know Your Northern NeighboUrTM Online Quiz for U.S. Students
